Yes! You heard right and not only Malaysia, other countries which has problem withdrawing from Paypal are able to withdraw their money too. It is a great relieves for many of us who has money stuck in Paypal account. Surely after this, we are not going to go through some endless search, searching for ways to withdraw Paypal money like buying expensive ebooks, make a trip to Singapore to open an account there or exposing ourself to be conned by some unscrupulous monkeys who claim can help to open US bank account. Now the Paypal money will go straight to our own bank account.
This is what Paypal said:-
Members in Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Cyprus, Estonia, Gibraltar, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Philippines, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Uruguay, can withdraw funds to credit cards that are withdraw eligible. You should allow 5-7 business days for your funds to post to your card, but may take more time, depending on your bank’s policies.
I have had no problem withdrawing Paypal money since last year because I am one of those who managed to get Etrade card before the rumour of Etrade temporarily suspend applications from Asians countries. But Etrade will soon start charging me USD120 annually after a year of free usage. So, the move made by Paypal to allow withdrawal has come at the right time for me.
Anyway, before the excitements growing bigger and bigger, we have to understand that Paypal allow us to withdraw our money but it will depend a lot on our bank policies. Not all of our local banks allow withdrawal from Paypal. So far, Al Rajhi Bank VISA debit card and EON Bank’s MOL Freedom Card has been checked which allow withdrawal. AmBank NexG Prepaid Debit Card failed to in Wayne Liew’s attempt to withdraw from Paypal. I do have Public Bank debit card and will try to withdraw to the card soon. If I am failed in my attempt with Public Bank debit card, I will have to go to Al Rajhi to open up a new account with them.
Steps to withdraw funds to a credit card:-
- Log in to your PayPal account.

There will be a charge of USD5.00 per withdrawal and a max of USD500 is allowed to be withdrawn a day and Paypal withdrawal to credit cards will take longer processing days of 5-6 business days. It is OK as long as the money can be credited into our bank account.
